Terms of Use

Last updated: September 2026

These Terms of Use govern your use of the Office Wife LLC website and your engagement with our services. By accessing this website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use this site or engage our services.

1. Services

Office Wife LLC provides virtual business operations services including bookkeeping and financial operations, administrative services, business systems architecture, business consulting and strategy, writing and content services, and real estate transaction and loan coordination. The specific scope of services for each client is defined by mutual agreement prior to engagement. We reserve the right to decline any project or engagement at our discretion.

2. Clear Your Plate Session and Engagement

New client engagements begin with a Clear Your Plate session — a paid 45-minute consultation at $95 — to assess fit, clarify scope, and determine the appropriate service structure. Booking this session does not constitute a service agreement or create any ongoing obligation on either party. The session fee is non-refundable and is separate from any subsequent retainer or project fees. A formal ongoing engagement begins only upon written agreement (email confirmation or signed agreement) and receipt of any required deposit or first payment.

3. Fees and Payment

Services are offered on a monthly retainer, hourly, or project basis as agreed upon in writing. Monthly retainer fees are due at the beginning of each billing period. Overage hours beyond the included retainer hours are billed at $75 per hour and will be communicated and agreed upon before being applied. Project-based and hourly engagements require a deposit prior to commencement. Payment options including payment plans are available for project engagements and will be specified in your service agreement. Invoices not paid within the agreed terms may result in a pause in services.

4. Cancellation Policy

Monthly retainer agreements are month-to-month and may be cancelled by either party with 30 days written notice. Cancellation notice must be submitted via email. Hours already worked within a billing period are non-refundable. Project engagements follow the cancellation terms specified in the individual project agreement. Deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.

5. Confidentiality

We treat all client information as confidential. We do not share, disclose, or discuss client business information with any third party except as required to perform the agreed services or as required by law. Clients are expected to provide accurate information necessary to perform the agreed services. We are not responsible for outcomes resulting from incomplete or inaccurate information provided by the client.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, graphics, and design — is the property of Office Wife LLC and may not be reproduced, copied, or distributed without express written permission. Work product created for clients as part of a service engagement becomes the property of the client upon receipt of full payment for that work. We retain the right to reference the general nature of our work (without disclosing confidential client information) for portfolio or promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.

7. Limitation of Liability

Office Wife LLC provides administrative and operational support services and is not a licensed attorney, CPA, financial advisor, or licensed real estate professional. Nothing on this website or delivered as part of our services constitutes legal, financial, tax, or investment advice. Clients are responsible for decisions made based on work we provide and should consult licensed professionals for legal, tax, or financial matters. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Office Wife LLC’s total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the fees paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

8. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved in the appropriate courts located in San Diego County, California.
